Intercampus Loan and Recall Requests

Sometimes the book or journal article that you need is owned by Fordham, but it is held at one of the other campus libraries. If so, you may submit an InterCampus Loan request for it from your library's Circulation Desk. Materials going between Rose Hill and Lincoln Center take 1 or 2 business days; while material to and from Westchester takes about 4 business days.

Books

Books to be transferred may be requested verbally at the Circulation Desk or with the InterCampus Library Loan Request form.

You must:

provide accurate information about the call number, author, and title
be sure that the book is a circulating one
check that the book is currently available at one of the other 2 campuses

Journal Articles

Journal articles not available in ANY format (electronic, print or microform) at your own library can be requested from another Fordham library holding the journal.

You must:

provide accurate information about the call number, author, title, journal name, date and page numbers
submit your request on the InterCampus Library Loan Request form

Recall Requests

If any Fordham book - regardless of which campus owns it - is currently charged out, you may place a Recall Request at your library's Circulation Desk. The current borrower is then asked to return the book within 14 days.

If Fordham does not own the book, try InterLibrary Loan . . .
