World Catalog (WorldCat) is a database containing over 46 million records for books, periodicals and other
media held by libraries in over 65 countries. The detailed bibliographic record for each entry contains all the
information that you need to complete an ILL request including the ISBN (for books), ISSN (for periodicals)
and OCLC numbers.

WorldCat will even fill out your ILL request form for you through your ILLIAD account when you click on "Send Request to ILL."

But what if you want or need to get access to the material immediately?

The Worldcat record provides a list of owning libraries, beginning conveniently with New York area libraries, with a link to their online catalogs. Click on the "Libraries Worldwide that own item" link from the Worldcat record.
