PsycINFO(R) contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, and technical reports, as well as citations to dissertations, all in the field of psychology and psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law.

Social Work Abstracts
The Social Work Abstracts database, produced by the National Association of Social Workers, Inc., contains more than 35,000 records, spanning 1977 to the present, from social work and other related journals on topics such as homelessness, AIDS, child and family welfare, aging, substance abuse, legislation, community organization, and more.

This is a useful site for both family members and caregivers.

Eldercare Web
This site provides access to online literature, research, and organizations dealing with the concerns of the elderly.

The Gerontological Society of America
This site was created to provide information on aging, as well as,  improve the quality of life during aging.

The National Aging Information Center
This site contains three databases: (1) the Bibliographic Database for finding aging-related products, (2) the Database Reference System for finding aging related data, and (3) the Eldercare Locator for finding referral services for the elderly in any locale.

Profile of Older Americans
Prepared by the Administration on Aging, this annual report provides a variety of statistical data: current population and projected growth, marital status, living arrangements, racial and ethnic composition, geographic distribution, income, housing, employment, education, and health.

This is the NY Chapter of the national organization known for its civil disobedience activities.

AIDS Information
This is the homepage of the Gay Men's Health Crisis.   It features an AIDS library, which contains links to various AIDS resources on the Web.

This site is from a Social Work perspective.

This is a very comprehensive site.  It is divided into sections: (1) Medical, (2) Prevention, and a (3) Social Issues Section.

This is a very easy to navigate site and is useful for finding government information pertaining to children's issues.
